The article analyzes the terroir of Koktebel in the context of the author’s approach «Mythopoetics of Wine». Analysis of historical data, study of the tradition of landscape painting, a number of legends, the poetic heritage of the Silver Age and, of course, the organoleptics of wine, allowed the authors to draw several significant conclusions about the possibilities of developing modern marketing support for Koktebel wines based on the technologies of the modern experience industry. It is proposed to introduce the following series: «Vineyards in Painting», «Poetry of the Silver Age», «Legendarium of Kara-Dag» and «Cimmerian Wines». Moreover, the main plots of modernized myths for the landscape series were developed, the possibilities and prospects of the Cimmerian series were assessed. The latter is derived not so much from the poetic experiments of the poet M. Voloshin, but from historical subjects inextricably linked with masculinity, valor, and bravery of the ancient peoples who lived on the Kerch Peninsula. As an experiment, the mythopoetic development of images of the Cimmerians in world literature and cinema is being studied in order to strengthen marketing moves in the promotion of Koktebel wines. In all cases, without exception, it is strongly recommended to pay special attention to the unique border status of Koktebel, both in a geographical sense (at the junction of the steppe, sea and mountains) and in a cultural-historical sense (in the border zone of many ancient civilizations and states). The fact of Koktebel’s border location is also important in the history of Crimean winemaking as the easternmost major center of viticulture.
