Abstract

This article is devoted to the conceptualization of cultural industries in the context of integrating the audio descriptive commentary service in the events and activities of cultural and art institutions. The article introduces the concept of “recreated impression” understood as a technology of visualization of cultural and artistic events for specialized audience of visually impaired people. The problems preventing effective and systematic integration of the visually impaired into the art sphere are systematized. The presence of these problems and their unsystematized nature require the introduction of a technological and purposefully controlled approach, which is in line with the ideology of cultural industries development. Among such problems the author refers to: the ineffective functioning of communications in the information field, the isolated nature of the community of inclusive audiences (blind people), the lack of systemic interaction between cultural and artistic institutions and the community of the blind, the instability of interactions between participants in the process, the lack of specialists who ensure the implementation of services on the principles of systemic reproduction. The author suggests to consider the following as the main directions of integration: creation of a unified information and coordination centre designed to systematize information about the list of events intended for blind and visually impaired people and timely informing the audience: organization of a system of training of volunteer audio describers, with the possibility of their integration into the actual practices of cultural and art institutions; development and implementation of specialised courses aimed at enhancing the adaptive capacity of inclusive groups.
