Editorial Policy

The editorial board of the online peer-reviewed periodical  relies on international standards for authors developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in its activities.

The online periodical undertakes to provide open and free access to published materials, thus ensuring the growth of scientific knowledge.

Manuscripts submitted for publication must have the following essential characteristics:

1)         organically fit into the thematic landscape of the publication, be distinguished by originality, relevance, undeniable scientific novelty, be accompanied by illustrative material corresponding to the profile of the publication and the topic of the article, provided with the author's commentary, description and reference to the source of borrowing;

2)         be submitted for publication for the first time and fully comply with all technical requirements for scientific publications;

3)         have, in accordance with the rules of scientific citation, the necessary references to the works used in the text, excluding plagiarism, paraphrasing, abbreviation of provisions and conclusions, unconfirmed co-authorship, and false citation;

4)         confirm the indisputability of authorship and the absence of any violations of the intellectual property rights of third parties, as well as the accuracy of the information provided about oneself as the author(s);

5)         contain, if necessary, an indication of sources of funding and possible conflicts of interest.

All manuscripts submitted to the editors are checked for originality through the Antiplagiat system (https://www.antiplagiat.ru/) and only then sent for review. English-language manuscripts are also checked by the Antiplagiat system (https://www.antiplagiat.ru/) in order to ensure the quality of publications and respect copyright.

Manuscripts are accepted for consideration if the originality of the text is at least 85%, while the remaining share of the text (15%) must consist exclusively of quoted text with indication of the relevant sources.

Submitted materials are treated as strictly confidential, and peer review is based entirely on their content, regardless of gender, race, age, social status, citizenship, religious or political beliefs of the author(s). Information obtained during the review process is not subject to disclosure. The editorial board reserves the right not to enter into correspondence on issues of acceptance or rejection of articles with persons who are not their authors. The editor-in-chief and his/her deputy will ensure the objectivity of the review process in every possible way.

Limited use of artificial intelligence technologies is allowed in the preparation of materials for publication, however, the author(s) must clearly indicate this fact in the manuscript and justify the appropriateness of using such tools. This information should be presented in the Methods section or in another part of the article and should be formatted as a footnote/note disclosing the need to use AI (for example: “Data processing was carried out using the [AI name] tool developed by [Company/organization name]”).

The editors, remaining true to the principles and norms of publication ethics, reserve the right to:

  1. give preference to materials that meet high intellectual standards, as well as materials containing fundamentally original scientific information;
  2. reject manuscripts without explanation;
  3. impose a five-year moratorium on the consideration of works by authors who have attempted to exert pressure on the review process or who have violated the above-mentioned principles.

Personal data published in the publication are used exclusively for the purposes set out in the Charter of the online publication.

The materials published in the online publication are intended for persons over 16 years of age.
